Sally Bowden, Clinical Psychologist


Sally has been working as a psychologist for over 10 years. She completed her undergraduate training at Flinders University and her Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Adelaide. She has worked in a variety of roles in the public sector, with a focus on children and adolescents. These included work in child and adolescent mental health services in South Australia as a psychologist and also as a sexual abuse and sexual assault counsellor for adolescents.  Sally has also worked with adolescents and adults in private practice settings, facilitated group cognitive-behaviour therapy programs for adults and has facilitated mental health training for general practitioners. Her own private practice has focused on seeing children, teenagers and young adults since 2010.

Sally has a particular interest in helping young people with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, adjustment difficulties, adolescents with self-harm or suicidal ideation and childhood development. She is a member of the Clinical College of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Dean Kaptsis, Clinical Psychologist


Dean obtained his qualifications from Flinders University and the University of Adelaide. Dean provides psychological services to children, adolescents, and young adults. His experience includes working at Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and the Adelaide Youth Training Centre. Dean has also carried out and published several studies into problem video-gaming, Internet use, and gambling amongst youth.

Dean is passionate about helping young people develop assertiveness, resilience, autonomy, healthy technology use, and a coherent self-concept. His therapeutic approaches include Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mentalization-Based Therapy. Dean works with clients holistically, making use of positive family relationships wherever possible. 

Liesl Christie, Clinical Psychologist


 Liesl enjoys building positive, supportive relationships with young people and their families, and creatively tailors treatment to a young person’s developmental needs. She uses a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Positive Psychology. She works within an Attachment framework and has an interest in neuropsychotherapy.

 
Liesl has a particular interest in helping young people with anxiety (including, but not limited to, social anxiety, performance anxiety, panic disorder, health anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety and stress), depression, adjustment disorders, trauma, behavioural and attachment difficulties.
 
Liesl was awarded her Master of Psychology (Clinical) at the University of South Australia in 2003 and has held a variety of roles as a registered psychologist in the public sector, working with families, children and adolescents. She has held positions at Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, the Department of Psychological Medicine within the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the Department of Education and Children’s services. Her work in private practice has involved providing psychological therapy for children, adolescents, families and adults. She is a member of the Clinical College of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a Board Approved Supervisor.

Chloe Kheng, Clinical Psychology Registrar


Chloe enjoys fostering warm and supportive relationships with young people and their families, to provide a therapeutic environment within which young people feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. She uses a collaborative approach, applying therapeutic strategies which meet the needs and values of the young people she works with. 

Chloe has a special interest in working with anxiety and is passionate about supporting young people to build confidence in themselves and their capabilities. 

Chloe completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of South Australia and her Master of Psychology (Clinical) at The University of Adelaide. She has experience working with young adults, as well as children with developmental delays and/or neurodiversity.   

Outside of work, you may find Chloe spending time with friends and family, or absorbed in one of her many and ever-changing hobbies, like knitting.

Emma Thompson, Registered Psychologist


Emma is a registered psychologist with over 13 years experience working with children, young people and their families in a variety of roles. Emma has worked within private practice, the youth justice sector, established a multidisciplinary youth support team, and spent the last 8 years working as a psychologist in both public and independent schools. Emma has also written and facilitated clinical supervision training, suicide awareness training and frameworks, and implemented various positive psychology programs in education settings.

Emma likes to tailor her approach to meet the individual, but has a particular interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and the use of Sandplay Therapy. Emma helps individuals with a variety of concerns, and has special interest in the areas of trauma, grief and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Imogen Ramsay, Clinical Psychologist

Imogen enjoys working with young people of all ages to help them achieve their goals, develop self-confidence, and flourish in all areas of life. She primarily uses developmentally informed cognitive behaviour therapy, uniquely tailored to each client’s needs. Imogen works with young people on a range of concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, low self-esteem, OCD, learning and attention problems, trauma, anger and frustration, relationships, and LGBTQI+ and gender diverse issues. She has a particular interest in working with adolescents and young adults to help them cope with stress, explore self-identity, and overcome barriers to reaching their potential. She has a warm, accepting, and calm approach to working with clients and aims to create an inclusive and safe therapy environment. 

 
Imogen completed her undergraduate training at the University of Adelaide, followed by a PhD and Master of Psychology (Clinical) at the University of South Australia. She is a member of the Clinical College of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and has experience working as a psychologist in public and private settings, with adults and children. In addition to her role as a psychologist, Imogen is a behavioural scientist who researches the psychological and social aspects of health and illness, with a focus on cancer.

Emily Munro, Registered Psychologist


 Emily is passionate about working with young adults, children and adolescents to improve wellbeing and reach their personal goals. Emily has a particular interest in anxiety, stress and adjustment, and supporting young people in all things related to their transition to adulthood and independence, including relationships, organisational skills, goal-setting and career counselling.

Emily is a registered psychologist, and obtained her qualifications from the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia. Emily utilises a warm, empathic, strengths-based approach with clients, and ensures a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Her professional experience includes working within the school setting and private practice.


 

Claire Pascoe, Clinical Psychology Registrar


Claire has a passion for supporting children, young people, and their families through a range of challenges with a focus on making meaningful change in the direction of their goals. Claire focuses on developing a therapeutic relationship with the young person and their family and enjoys working with people on a range of challenges including experiences of anxiety, low mood, adjustment difficulties and emotional and behavioural challenges.

Claire completed her Master of Clinical Psychology degree at the University of Adelaide and holds registration as a psychologist and is completing her Clinical registrar program. Claire has experience working for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and Youth Mental Health which incorporated therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

 Outside of work Claire enjoys spending time with her friends and family and walking along the beach with her two golden retrievers.  

Molly Wright, Clinical Psychologist


 Molly is passionate about supporting children, young people and their families to develop strategies to overcome a range of mental health, social and emotional challenges. Molly draws upon evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to work collaboratively with young people and their families to achieve their goals. Molly offers a warm and compassionate approach with a focus on building genuine therapeutic relationships, to provide an environment where young people and their families feel valued and understood. She takes a collaborative and creative approach to therapy in order to engage young people and build upon their strengths. Molly works with all presenting concerns, but has particular interest in supporting children and young people with concerns relating to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues and behavioural difficulties.

Molly is a clinical psychologist, with a Masters of Psychology (Clinical) from the University of Adelaide. She is currently working towards her endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist. She has additionally worked as a provisional psychologist in rural adult mental health.

Outside of work, Molly enjoys walking her dog, reading and spending time with friends and family.
